Commercial sex Tuesday, 11 March 2008 Commercial sex is considered one of the oldest professions in the history of humanity, and it’s the most debatable issue at different levels; health, medical and social due to the increasing number of STIs (HIV, Hepatitis B,C) Most of the UN agencies, GOs and NGOs are having difficulties to reach out for this group to increase awareness among them for more prevention from STIs. It is very crucial to increase awareness among sex workers in order to reserve their rights as human beings in protecting them, and protecting the community from the danger of getting infected by HIV and other STIs.
